Here to Stay in Wintergreen (HSW) (www.heretostaywtg.org) a small non-profit organization headquartered in Nellysford, Virginia, is searching for a creative and organized individual to provide office duties and administrative support to members, volunteers and recipients of program services. It is anticipated this individual will work between 10 and 15 hours each week. This employee will report to the president of the board of directors of HSW and will work closely with committee chairmen and the program director for Blue Ridge Respite (www.blueridgerespite.org).
Job Description:
The Office Manager/Administrator will oversee and coordinate member and volunteer scheduling of services and programs for HSW and its sponsored Blue Ridge Respite program. This includes tracking member and volunteer databases, membership payments and renewals, and tracking volunteer hours. General office duties include picking up and opening mail, responding to email and phone inquiries, ordering supplies and marketing materials, assisting with the monthly newsletter Pathways, maintaining the HSW website, and attending various events and functions.
Qualifications:
Previous office and administrative experience is essential, along with attention to detail. The individual must be familiar or willing to learn such applications as Squarespace and Stripe to facilitate website and payment functions, the Google Apps suite (which includes Sheets, Docs and Drive), Mailchimp for emails, and Sign up Genius for voluntee scheduling.
Location:
HSW’s office is located in the Tuckahoe Clubhouse at 37 Stone Orchard Drive, Nellysford, VA 22958. Some remote work is acceptable. Starting date is negotiable but filling the position by November 1, 2025 is desirable.
