Connection is at the heart of our community, and Here to Stay in Wintergreen is excited to bring residents and local organizations together for Getting to Know Us. Sponsored by HSW, this special community fair brings together many of the wonderful organizations that help make Wintergreen such a vibrant place to call home.

HSW is a service organization dedicated to supporting our neighbors with everyday needs—such as transportation to medical appointments and social activities—that may become more challenging over time. Equally important to our mission is fostering connection and creating opportunities for social engagement. Wintergreen is fortunate to have a wide variety of activities and programs available, and we invite you to explore them all at the fair to find a new interest, activity, or group that is a perfect fit for you.

HSW continues to expand its own offerings, including popular new additions like the Movie Club and the return of our Armchair Presentations. We look forward to introducing even more upcoming opportunities to you at the event.

We are also delighted to partner with several outstanding community organizations that offer unique ways to learn and get involved:

• The Nature Foundation at Wintergreen provides engaging, educational programs tailored for seniors—offering low-physical-impact activities with rich learning experiences.

• The Wintergreen Valley Association and The Wintergreen Mountain Association offer great ways to meet neighbors, build friendships, and stay connected.

• The Wintergreen Sporting Club provides a variety of active programs for those who enjoy staying on the move.

Additionally, we are deeply grateful for the essential service teams that keep our community safe and supported: Nelson County’s paramedic program, our dedicated Fire and Rescue team, and the Wintergreen Police Department. Their expertise, commitment, and dedication are invaluable to Wintergreen and the surrounding Nelson County community.
